Justin asked me to share this note to you:
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated or subscribed. I feel very touched and honoured that people I have never met or know a little through the internet have been kind enough to support me in this fashion.
The story I am telling is a gloomy one and putting these threads together is like doing a crazy crossword puzzle at breakneck speed but I still love doing them. Deriving some income from Climate and Economy means that I can spend a couple of hours on it each morning without feeling guilty that I should be doing something more productive – a feeling that had become increasingly nagging with my wife falling ill and my work increasingly covid-challenged.
This is not to complain about my circumstances though. My threads are a daily education in how much worse things could, and no doubt will, be so I try to count my blessings.
Special thanks also to my webmaster, who has been a loyal friend, counsellor, benefactor, technical support person and all-round fairy godmother to me these past few years. The website would not exist without her. Thank you, Anne!
With best wishes,
Justin Panopticon
