Readers, forgive me but I must take a few days away from the computer to engage in some half-term shenanigans with my boys.
I wish you all well and let me take this opportunity to thank anyone who has donated or is donating towards my efforts. It is very much appreciated. JP
I will be away until Monday, so there will be a little hiatus in my threads. Well, not exactly away, but busy looking after my two boys + splendid hound.
I wish you a marvellous weekend in the interim and send a huge thank you to my generous patrons. I may not be raking it in like Goldman Sachs but the money does make a difference, so thank you!
2019 is shaping up to be a year of stalling global growth, resulting in more geopolitical fractiousness and quite possibly Global Financial Crisis 2.0.
Meanwhile the climate looks to be on the cusp of tipping points galore, so enjoy your creature comforts whilst you still have them, my shrewd readers, and loyal and noble patreons.
Just a heads-up that I’m going to be away for the kids’ half-term shenanigans so won’t be posting much until 29th October, although of course if something very significant happens in the interim I will find a way to do so.
Hopefully everything will be, you know, absolutely fine in the interim. Zero-carbon, plastic-free, infinitely-sustainable economy here we come!
“As far as I know, your work is unique in pulling together stories from all over the world. Very sobering but a better and more complete view. Terrific and necessary work. Thank you!” – Simon
“With the inundation of so much depressing news, Justin Panopticon presents it in a succinct format that one can quickly go thru and see the big picture of climate and economics/politics to stay current and if a particle topic is of interest one can delve into the details… I try never to miss any of his posts…I am a Patreon of his work.”
