Extreme weather caused record amount of damage last year: Insurers.

“Extreme weather caused a record amount of damage in the Netherlands last year at over 886 million euros. The Dutch Association of Insurers reports this in its Climate Damage Monitor on Thursday. 14,000 Abandoned Oil and Gas Wells in the Gulf of Mexico Are Spewing Methane.
