This is 14F (fourteen)F above the previous record heat for the 2nd half of October.”

It’s as amplified as a weather pattern as you’ll ever see. Ridges and troughs divide the cold and warm air masses across North America, and this week, that divide will be taken to the extreme.

The mighty Mississippi is so low, people are walking to a unique rock formation rarely accessible by foot.

More Canadians are in the path of tornadoes — but don’t always know they’re coming…

The town of Santa Ana in Cagayan province [Philippines] was placed under a state of calamity Monday (Oct. 17) after the damage caused by Typhoon Neneng (international name: Nesat).
